Experiment

This panel contains the settings relative to the experiment.

Name: The name of the active experiment. This field can be left empty. Default setting is empty.

Description: The description of the active experiment. This field can be left empty. Default setting is empty.

Date: The current date.

Options:

Use All CPUs: Default setting is checked. If checked, all the computing resources will be used to perform the next experiment. This speeds up processing. Default setting is checked.

Clear Memory: Default setting is unchecked. If checked, the random access memory (RAM) will be cleared (Garbage collector) before the next experiment. This optimizes memory consumption. Default setting is unchecked.

Beep: Default setting is unchecked. If checked, a Beep will be emitted when the experiment is done. Default setting is unchecked.

News: The MicrobeJ – Linked to MicrobeJ website; provides updated news feed.
