Center: The distance along the medial axis of the parent particle between the perpendicular projection of the child particle center onto the medial axis and the center of the parent particle. Values are expressed in square pixels or in calibrated square units.

Pole ½: The distance along the medial axis of the parent particle between the perpendicular projection of the child particle center onto the medial axis and the pole 1 or the pole 2 of the parent particle. Values are expressed in square pixels or in calibrated square units.

Axis: The distance between the child particle center and the perpendicular projection of the child particle center onto the medial axis of the parent particle. Values are expressed in square pixels or in calibrated square units.

Side: The distance between the child particle center and the perpendicular projection of the child particle center onto the contour of the parent particle. Values are expressed in square pixels or in calibrated square units.

Linker: The distance between the child particle center and the point of reference inside the parent particle. Values are expressed in square pixels or in calibrated square units.
