Each flag consists of specific criteria designed to evaluate particle properties of the trajectory. Each particle of the trajectory is tested against the criteria of the specific flag until at least one specific particle meet the criteria. If not, no flag is attributed to the trajectory. When only one particle meets the criterion of a specific flag, the temporal position (absolute and relative to the start of the trajectory), label and color is added to the trajectory. When more than one particle meet the criterion of a specific flag, the temporal position (absolute and relative to the start of the trajectory), label and color of the flag at the specified occurrence is added to the trajectory.

Occurrence: Defines the number of occurrence to be selected for the specific flag. For instance sets ‘1’ to select the first flag raised in the trajectory, sets ‘2’ to select the second flag raised in the trajectory and so on.

Criteria: Defines the criteria associated with the specific flag (see the Criteria section). Criteria are a set of properties or expressions that can be evaluated to True or False. A criterion is met when the condition evaluates to True. Criteria can use any comparison operator (‘>’, ’<’, ’=’, ’<=’, ’>=’), any calculation operator (‘+’, ’-‘, ’/’) or any binary operator (‘&’, ’|’, ’and’, ‘or’). Default setting is empty.

Color: Selects the color associated with the specific flag. Default setting is green.
